Jill, Poet, et al...I'm holding Qcom Feb calls. I'm thinking of selling first thing in the AM for a loss. Your opinions appreciated.

I did this this AM sold covered calls for July 175-250 this AM on all shares in my trading accounts. I have a bunch of virgin QCOM in another acct which is option free. I picked up average premium of ballpark 20$/share. I suspect this will work out fine with all of the volitility. Gives me less of a trigger finger to sell the common when we hit those nasty air pockets. Just did this with BRCM, VRSN and could buy pack my calls with 50% + profit in a very brief period of time but will just sit tight with those. "Yee of little faith take heart QCOM will rock and roll. People worry too much, just sell some insurance, short term disability just in case. Events of tonight don't surprise me one bit - just background noise.
