briand, I think the reporters are all confused. Here is a recent release that confuses operating earnings with net income per share. Even the first call estimates are compared to the net income per share instead of the operating earnings. I believe the wide margin by which NT beat estimates got them mixed up. What a mess. I hope NT clears it up by tomorrow. 12 cents are meaningless and are not included in the operating earnings anyways. To the best of my knowledge earnings estimates are for operating earnings. The marketXT quote of 112 at about 8 pm is reassuring. biz.yahoo.com
