ElectofGod, I will not wrestle with you about the truth. I know I have it, and you think you have it. We both cannot be right. God has taught me through his word that what I know to be truth. God will convince me if I got it wrong! But he will not because what I tell you is clearly of God, and is God's word! I will agree with you on the following: 1. You can not agree to disagree... One of us is wrong. According to God and his word, YOU are wrong! You will not convince me that you are not. It will be God doing the convincing, or no one! And I know he will not convince me I am wrong cause I'm right! 2. I know what you believe is believed by MOST professing Christians today... because it is the TRUTH! 3. When did God ever say " Let's agree to disagree " ??? -- Never!!! I am agreeing to disagree with YOU, not God! God forbid it! You are not my responsibility. You are God's responsibility. If I take your responsibility in my hands, or start judging you, I am undermining God's authority. 4. You either agree with God or your in sin. Simple. ... and guess what, I think you are in sin! 5. Quite the contrary it is the common weakness of the day to allow that contrary views may both be valid... TRUE! I do not wish for your views to be passed along. In fact it upsets me greatly! But it's Gods business to show you are wrong, not mine. That is, unless God tells me to keep reinforcing the truth in his word with you. He has not! In fact, God has told me to leave you be. He will take care of your false beliefs, not me! I can not convince you. But he can, if it is in his will! And in the future if he chooses to use me to prove your errors, I will obediently follow! 6. Something can be right for you but wrong for me... ==== That is the insane age we live in.. ==== Absolutely true! You said, "There are bibles being printed to suit the " God loves Everyone heresies " to replace the ones where the truth is best expressed." Which ones? Which bible is OK by you? In fact, what church do you go to that believes what you say? You said, "I am in a sense perhaps Elite if you think that Paul was Elite or John the Baptist was Elite or any Biblical example of men who were Saved as being Elite then YES I AM ELITE." Don't compare yourself to these men! If you are saved, which I truly do not know, that's as far as the comparision goes! Comparing yourself in any other way is a sign of a big problem to me, IMHO! These men did for God things you or I are not doing, believe me! You said,"I am not here to discourage anyone from seeking God or calling out to Him. It is however the Biblical teaching that Saving Faith is a Gift from God given to men before they ever "will" to accept Him or do anything good." You are discouraging people with your beliefs...believe me! Your second statement about saving faith is true. Your problem is you limit God to our time restrictions. Why couldn't God foreknow you and use your upcoming decision as part of his decision making process whether you would be a part of the elect or not? Why is this not true? Why can't be both true, that is, he chose you, and you also chose him? Can't comprehend such a thing? Is God's way hard for you to understand? Of course, because God tells you that! Isaiah 55:9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. If he did not base his decision off of ours, you take away our free will. And if you do that, why bother with life, or telling others about God. It is useless! That is not reasonable. God should have skipped his plan, made robots and never bothered with anything else. Math 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or Look again: Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. These statements would appear to be open to EVERYONE... YES they do! You don't have to go any father than that statement! And ANYONE too........ The only reason why God does not grant someone eternal life is they do not truly believe in him, and never accept that his shed blood is their atonement. You can not save yourself....only Jesus can!
