The 200 dmav has proven to be strong support since October. It got close in October at around 60 and quickly rallied to 78 then crossed it one day in Dec ~ 61 and quickly rallied to 82. The 200 dmav is currently around 65 so I'm betting on another quick run up in the next 7 days

Statistics from Februaries past . . .

I looked at MU's performance in February from 1988 to 1999. At first glance the average February performance looked remarkably like the average January performance - high +25%, low -8%, close 15% from the January closing price. But in the four years where the January closing price was either down or flat from the December close (averaging -10%), February had good performance: high +45%, low -7%, close +32% from January close.

The remaining eight years where MU increased on average of 28% in January, the February performance was only: high +16%, low -8%, close +6%.

January 2000 certainly is shaping up to end in the former category. Could there possibly be hope left to see upper 70s, lower 80s by the end of February?
