rudedog-- Capellas was picked because no one want to take the position, a position whoever took it must hold the trash bags from the former CEO. Look at what Capellas has done (don't compare him with Apple's Job. The only thing he learned from Job is to add an i before paq). Flat revenues, lack of leading products, knowing nothing on how to digest DEC (sell AltaVista, the only gold CPQ got from DEC; Lay off people from DEC, many of key tech personnels were great gift for the competitors; The alpha chips never catch up with Intel's and AMD's chips; ...) I am not expecting the shareholders can stand him any longer than additional one year if no significantly changes are able to be seen in the near future. Since he said next quarter won't be better, I am preparing to vote down him if I am still a holder on next annual meeting. :-)
