Let me put this to all....

We have moved intraday from 200 to 132 and change which we hit about a week ago. What if that was the reaction to this bit of "bad earnings news"? That's about a 35% hit right there. I'm not sold on the fact that this earnings announcement was all that bad. I don't think that enough weight has been given to the upside surprise of the royalty stream. As a group, this thread as well as the other, is looking out past the 3 months that was just completed. Has anything that was said in the cc been a negative surprise to anyone here? We all knew that phone shipments would be down for the Q! from this point forward. How could they not be? The 70 million CDMA phone number has been referenced many times in the past year as the number to look for in Y2K. Folks, that still translates to a 75% gain for CDMA handsets this year! The royalty stream is going to stay intact and we haven't even scratched the surface as to where these CDMA chipsets are going to end up. Just ask GM et. al. what their plans are for wireless devices in their cars.

Have you all seen the commercial where the fridge has already called the repairman before it breaks? How does it do that? As Slick Willie would say... it's the royalties, stupid. (not targeting you Spud)

Those of you with buying power left, what are you going to do if Q! doesn't crater tomorrow and instead only drops marginally, say back to where it closed after-hours? That's not even back to where we were a week ago and another successful test of the low that was put in place then.

Huh? I want answers Spock!
