Hi BOB!

I'm working through the AVID posts of 1998 which is quiet a task. So far i have done jan-july. Since i couldn't sleep last night did the whole July during the night hours.
I'm not trading the Spoos or any kind of index or futures although i envied Teresa at intelligentspeculator.com doing it. But she is just a great trader. Not hundred of charts to study each nite, no earnings warnings but other problems like interest rates etc. But i think the principles apply anyhow. Oleman says in one post that he trades any instrument(stock, futures, pork bellies e.g.)in any time frame with this method.
RIght now i'm doing little trades with 50 shares for training purposes. I try to take only trades according to plan which is really difficult for me since i tend to take on trades impulsively which are often by deeper analysis stupid. So far i'm also trading of the daily chart although i often look at the intraday charts with the quotecom freebie.Actually their Spoos are realtime even on the freebie.
BTW regarding entry points. I don't really understand your entry! I look ideally for a bar that makes a hammer on the 28SMA and will buy if the next day the hi of ytd is taken out.
Exits? good questions. Ole writes that he exits when he sees momentum slowing down but doesn't elaborate on that. Mitstop seems to use the 5dma occasionally. Don't know yet what i will use. Was thinking of mixing time frames(entry on daily but stops off the 60min moving average!!) but i know that's dangerous...experimenting!
Thanks for posting your info!
