Gary, I think the most relevant anecdotal evidence that intraday P&F tick charts are successful is that the floor traders have been doing it for many years. These are the pros that have to make money on a daily basis or they are out (any pros out there might want to confirm or deny this, my comment is from hearsay). For me, I would have a tough time with my type of trading if I didn't have some kind of realtime intraday chart. Looking at the intraday bar charts, I do my best to visualize the Xs and Os. I also couldn't live without my "noise free" interday charts. JXM
