I am sure you are right.

I am also sure they will ship around 10-12M cumines in Q1 2000.

A large percentage of these will be 650Mhz and below - perhaps as many as 50%.

The balance of 15M units will be 500-600Mhz speeds Celerons and PIII's. And 1M xeons etc thrown in the mix.

I don't see any room for Intel to cut prices here in Q1.

In fact their debooking disti product and selling it customer direct means they are struggling for every margin dollar they van get. At the risk of POing the disti's.
