<I am also sure they will ship around 10-12M cumines in Q1 2000.

A large percentage of these will be 650Mhz and below - perhaps as many as 50%.

The balance of 15M units will be 500-600Mhz speeds Celerons and PIII's. And 1M xeons etc thrown in the mix.>

Seems to me Intel should ship about 30Mu in Q1 (slightly down guidance) which means there should be some more PIII/Celerons in the mix.

<In fact their debooking disti product and selling it customer direct means they are struggling for every margin dollar they van get. At the risk of POing the disti's.>

Not sure if I am reading this right. Don't you think Intel gets lower margin % on Dell business than disty business? In other words, shipping more to large OEMs at the expense of distributors should hurt the margins.
