Is it beyond your conception to believe that Government could ever come to know what the true religion is? It has happened before. In 1647 the governments of England, Ireland, and Scotland passed legislation that plainly pronounced what the true religion teaches. It was "ratified" more than once and was a work of Protestant Divines under commission to do just that. You can read it for yourself here: reformed.org Any religion not based on the Holy Scriptures is Idolatry and some that say they are based on scripture are still idolatry. Also Your statement " Which one would YOU allow " is an unrealistic question to start with. First I do not believe that we should be governed by Popes or Kings but rather by groups of Godly counsel. Not a single person such as myself. However I could do no worse than what we now have :-} This land can't get it together to deal with abortion righteously and you are asking for fine tuning... As a society repents and God grants light the standards for truth are raised higher. Men who rule other men by anything other than God's Law are tyrants. We now live under such humanistic tyranny. If men would acknowledge that Jesus and His law are the only basis of a truly free society then we can move toward repentance as a nation. You say I avoid the question --- You are in favour of keeping satanists up and running and have not dealt with that. Who is hiding ? Let me say they would be the first to be outlawed. So now you no longer have your "freedom of religion" do you. People tell me I should be tolerant of Idolators but in the end people like you will not tolerate my views of intolerance. Any religion that does not believe that Jesus is the Saviour of the world is of Satan. 1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
