Art: Thanks for that insightful comparison of QCOM vs SNDK. That is a keeper. (eom)

Thank you for your excellent analysis of the market's treatment of QCOM and SANDISK. I found your comments very helpful, and agree completely with your premise that a company's true value lies in the technology it offers and not in the "dollar figures" pasted to its name.
Thank you again for your inspiring and insightful review,
SongWrks

Art,
One correction: you say that "SanDisk also increased its cash on hand from $15 million to $146 million." You forget to add in their short term investments of $313 million or so. They actually have about $460 million of cash on hand.

Sam

EDIT: Stock is up over 127 still. Just over 3 million shares traded with half an hour to go, guess Michael G. was right about that. After the first 40 minutes or so, surprisingly little (to me) volume. Maybe the last half hour will bring some more.

SECOND EDIT: Just checked real time quote, the stock is now over 130, with 3.5 million shares traded.

Third and last edit: Stock just jumped to 136 and change on about 35,000 shares. Someone is playing games, or else there just isn't very much stock available with a lot of demand. Margin calls?
