What impressed today is that gold stocks wwre able to rally nicely despite a strong dollar and a strong bond market.

The excellent bond market action is telling me that the FOMC will tighten much more aggressively these next few months -- slowing the US and global economic boom and putting some downward pressure on the CRB. Oil and oil service stocks were very weak today on just a small drop in crude prices.

But again, gold stocks appear to have discounted all of this (or almost all) already. A final spike down in POG would not surprise me, but I suspect we have seen the lows in the XAU.
