Aloha edamo! I thought Thompson's reported on the super buy and super sell orders, which are all large block orders (I believe 10K or more). Today the whole chart is nothing but blue super buy messages. Thus I conclude that the institutions are net buyers. Where have I gone wrong?

I believe Dell will see low 30's before it starts back up again. With growth slowing substantially, it will be harder ans harder to attract investors at a PE of 65-70. If Dell was given a PE of 50% higher than it's 30% growth rate, it price, based on this FY earnings (.68) its stock price would be 30.60/share. Investors will make the determination of how much of a premium they will attach to Dell going forward. A lot will depend on how well MD and the rest of management present their vision of the future to the street, which means both the analysts and the investors.

I sold my trading shares when Dell broke through 43 and it became obvious that with the rest of the sector detailing supply troubles, Dell would most likely warn. I was disappointed they took so long to warn, but perhaps they were being overly optimistic about Jan revenues. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, retain my core position (avg. cost 9.36) and look to re-establish my trading position below 33. However, if I begin to feel that management is becoming less than clear, I'll look for a nice exit point for my core position, thank M.Dell for all the $$ he made for me and be on my way.

Cheers
Alohal
