from goldmining outlook.com<<<<<COMMENTS OF THE DAY: Commodities rose modestly on Thursday, while precious metals closed higher across the board. Gold edged up 60 cents, silver rallied 13.2 cents, platinum soared $13.10, and palladium gained $11.00.
