Kash, A new mobo based on the Athlon would be a hole for hole drop in to their standard Dell case and would be a simple procurement exercise since Dell buys their mobos as a finished part their is little infrasructure to implement. CPUs from AMD and mobos from whatever maker they select. However with the person in charge of desktop stuff an ex-intellian it might take some insistence from top manglement to make him accept AMD. A few more months of Intel parts starvation should do it. Bill
