Great post! I began to realize two years ago that stock price had little to do with the finacials of the company. Studying technical analysis put me into IFMX at $7 1/4. I did a buy write when I bought, so I won't be participating in any big moves. This was basically an experiment for me. I learned how to used options, and then I spent a great deal of time studying technical analysis. When I fealt comfortable with my skill set, IFMX happened to be my practice company. It's been a great experience divorcing everyone elses opinion and implementing a plan. Technical analysis has really freed me to make go/no-go decisions. I also do some fundamental analysis but realize there are armies of more qualified people which do this type of analysis. I fealt my only chance to improve my odds was to become much more proficient at trading strategies and risk management. Stocks are simply vehicles; most of them used <g>. If you can learn the way the vehicle handles you can free yourself from all the noise.
