I anticipate that a new microarchitecture coupled with the process advances Intel has made will put Willamette squarely ahead of AMD in MHz by the end of the year. I.e., I'll bet. <Nope! I have not followed his posts though I can guess what he may have said ;-)> I was still lurking when Maxwell was active. He was very pro AMD. PB
