Jim, are you calling me a fat guy <G>?

How 'bout this (for your weekend thoughts...)...In late '98, early '99....Niles and Kumar were both negative on Dell...and warned of the impending "doom" in the (what they called "overpriced stock"/declining growth rate...

The stock eventually took the big hit (Feb. '99)

During calender '99....Niles and Kumar were mostly split on the stock...Niles primarily negative...Kumar primarily positive....Given the stock's flat performance.....the balance they provided (good cop/bad cop) was interesting...

So, Kumar= negative, Niles= negative....stock price= negative

Kumar= positive, Niles= negative (or vice-versa)...stock price= flat

Now, both Kumar and Niles are positive on the stock...in fact, as bullish as I've seen them in a couple years...hmm..

So, Niles= bull, Kumar= bull...Stock price= ??

(I'd have to say my FUD logic says BULL ! <G>)...

I am still contemplating Rudedog's assertions that CPQ and HP warnings are going to push Dell hard in price this spring, and that component manufacturers are now stickin' it to Dell...worth thinkin' about...

Have a good weekend...
