well, if that's all they bought...they may or may not have other holdings. some people actually <gasp> hold decent things in their accounts too.

what would be an example of a decent thing these days though ? berkshire a is only down 30k from its peak. bellweathers like ge and xom have huge pe's.

did you see my anecdote from yesterday...its a true story. i checked the quote for the stock ms 25 yr old bought. it tanked from 28 to 25 yesterday...

'it ruined me' she says...how could anyone be ruined by buying a stock at 3 and selling at 3.50 ? she's 25, embarking on a teaching career, very lucky to have gotten in to teachers college (lots of competition) but the stock ruined her...
