Barry,
I think 2-3% is the key. Sure, it adds up but somehow it's accepted.
Like the frog in the boiling water routine.
Speaking of the chemical business. I see Eastman Chemical going into the dumpster because the costs of their raw materials are rising and they can't raise prices. So Inflation can hurt a company in more ways than one...
As for oil prices...remember the 70s...they were cartel controlled then and went through the roof...reverberating through out the world.
