greg - <It is ridiculous to believe that Intel would fund postings on the internet designed to change individual opinions about Intel's stock or products. You are overly paranoid.>

Message 12634254

I've been on SI since May'96 when I was the Intel IR manager - I posted more frequently then. It was never an official job responsibility, but given my job then was to be a conduit to Intel's investors, it seemed natural to scan this thread. You can thank Jules Garfunkle for introducing me to SI (met him in NYC). Back then there was Burt, and Paul and Carl and a crop of anti-Intel posters. Seen many crops come and go since. Intel stock higher every year. You can read my profile for my current role. Nobody gets paid by Intel to post or monitor SI.

greg,

re:"overly paranoid"

Typical Intellibee personal attack. Paul has you trained well.

You missed the <VBG> at the end?

The alleged Intel employees who post here, have stated they are not paid by Intel to post here.

Maybe some others thought it was funny too?

Shoot, you want something funny to laugh at?
DELL cannot ship P3-800 systems until March 9th.

zdnet.com

"A call to Dell showed that a Dimension PC with an 800MHz Pentium III processor, Intel's 820 chip set and 128MB of Rambus dynamic RAM would not ship until March 9."

The 800 Floppermine was announced December 20th, 1999.

Lighten up greg,

and have a nice day!

Make it so,
Mysef
