Sounds like what you need is a new motherboard, cpu and possibly memory. Questions: do you have SIMM memory or DIMM and secondly how many PCI vs. ISA cards do you have and finally W98 or W95? An Asus P3B-F motherboard is around $130(disappearing fast) and a Celeron 500 is about $130. If you have simm memory you will need new stuff and currently 64mb of the best Corsair is under $100. Where are your computer building friends when you need them? One more questions is that a K5 or K6?

What are peoples opinion on the market on Monday? Down or Up?
Anyone else notice RMBSes P/E, it's 222.
