Well hi there, Pal! I'm delighted to see you here again.

Boy, would i love a QCOM buyback announcement. Never have so few words "a slump" been analyzed so closely by so many. Sheesh. I think Jacobs is a wonderful manager and QCOM will continue to do very well. I'm banking on it.
FWIW, you and ed have been great techers about selling puts here and I've begun to dip my toe into that great crumb cache. Thanks so much for your posts on the subject.

Hi Paul,

So nice to see your post again, my good friend. Thanks for expressing your clear thoughts.

Although his intention is correct, he probably did not expect the misreadings from analysts the like of Merril Lynch.

Surprised?
.......

Just as given as the sun rises from the east.

Eloquent!
..........

Take care, Paul. Better days are ahead.

I have to imagine that Dr. J and Co. are going to have to do something quickly about the slump statement, at least internally.

Can you imagine how he must feel walking down the hallways of QCOM HQ and passing employees, knowing what they are thinking of him at this time? I know that he's lost a lot of money here, but think about the employees who've lost a significant portion of their savings/lifestyle because of those words. Morale must be in the basement there, which is not good for the company.

And what must the board of directors be thinking? Yikes!
