Can you imagine how he must feel walking down the hallways of QCOM HQ and passing employees, knowing what they are thinking of him at this time? I know that he's lost a lot of money here, but think about the employees who've lost a significant portion of their savings/lifestyle because of those words. Morale must be in the basement there, which is not good for the company. And what must the board of directors be thinking? Yikes!<<

They probably think of him like many of us that the comments were stupid and hope he his made to feel the backlash of behaving like an inconsiderate moron with no regard to his supporting shareholders. The market was already suffering from a serious decline without his damn idiotic comments.

Frank

Bob-- I know many Q employees and can emphatically say that, to a person, they believe that IJ is a visionary, a tenacious businessman and one heck of a human being. They also understand that they are lucky to work for the best thing ever to hit San Diego (and if they didn't, there are many San Diegans ready and willing to take their places).
Even at these levels, the stock is up over 17X in the last year and this company (and its stock) will surely stand the test of time--don't be such a short-sighted whiner.
