OT: eli, how many .25 hikes are already priced in?
I like (well don't really like it, but feel it may
be a good prediction) the theory that we could
see 3 hikes over the next 3 fed meetings because
after that AG can't do anything till elections are
over. I've got to think that esp after Friday, that
the market now has got to be expecting at least 2
2 .25 hikes. What is the prevailing 'bond slut' view?

Hi Eli,

You are certainly much more knowledgeable them me, even if a Bond Slut by Profession. <g> But I had a thought about making the whole move in one fell swoop: Wouldn't that create quite a downdraft in the equities markets around the world? Sure, Mr. Greenspan would eliminate that "irrational exuberance", but does he want to backfill it with a worldwide recession?

Regards,
Gary
