don't think he's saying that right here..his last post said were going down...short term....if we broke 11,000 and another number on the spoo...maybe 1442ish...

we;re getting more snow right now....man this is nuts!!!

>>Been wondering for years what Ike means when he says bhumbo. Can you fill me in?<<

Hi Pat, you are probably best off asking Iqbal as to the specific factors that need to be in place before one of his "bhumbo" moves occur. The term is one of his own creation -- the origin of which he once explained but I don't recall the specifics.

I have interpreted it to be the formation of this very tight coil that explodes to the upside. But this is my interpretation as opposed to anything that he has said to that effect.

What I do know is that in the years that I have been following his posts, he has used the term on three occasions that I can recall and in each instance there have been explosive moves that have occurred to the upside. I have not seen him use the term to refer to potential large downside moves.

He might not be dead-on with the timing of when it will occur -- but when he starts using that term, the short side of the market is not advisable.

He really does have a pretty good record as far as calling major bottoms in the market!
