of course the Confederate flag DOES have certain meanings for most people who want to use it.

It has a meaning for me. It's Southern heritage. I see no reason to relinquish it to the KKK and the swastika wavers, the way the liberal hate mob has long sought to isolate it. By stripping the flag from those who fly it from heritage, the haters on the left see to it that it gets abandoned to racist elements, which is just their intention. After all, the left benefits politically from racial antagonism, and they need to see that there is always turmoil. If the Battle Flag itself were to be outlawed they will just move on to a new grievance.
