Jill, I'd like to see if any one on this thread can explain the implications from the post from raging bull found in your post #65301 on this thread. I truly am not sure I understand it, and would like to hear some opinions relevant to the information.

Thanks.

LoF

The idiots show their heads. please somebody tell the Chipster that Qcom gets equal royalties on WCDMA. Please also tell him that ATT subscribers are already in freefall compared to SPRINT, and BAM. Their service is terrible and everyone knows it. Besides anyone who owns IDC has no credibility anyway. It astonishes me how after two years there are so called experts like "chipster" touting their knowledge about issues already resolved. Whille your at it ask him what exactly is the difference between WCDMA and CDMA2000 besides a chip rate and synchro. Who is going to impliment this system and when. How will they develop 2.5g system. EDGE? better hope it doesnt implode ther network. This WCDMA debate has been argued since the first day I owned QCOM. DOMOCO, ERICY, MOT, Japanese, and Korean manufacturer's have all acknolodged Q's patents essential nature in WCDMA. If The Chipster doesnt understand that let him lose his money investing in IDC! There is one place where GSM, TDMA, and CDMA compete side by side. Guess who's winning in subscriber growth? CDMA means Qcom gets the $$$$$

The short snakes will slither out from the the smallest crack to spread their venom about things they know nothing about.

Thanks for the laugh.
