Another one to add to the list....Microstar BXMaster. Anandtech.com put up a review today and gave it their gold star. Sounds like an excellent BX board and the review is worth a look. I've been reading every board review I can find lately and from what my bleery memory can recall the BX boards overclock almost as fast as VIA133 boards with PIII FCPGA chips (500 & 550's)and handle memory a bit better than the VIA133's (can't remember the specifics of this fine point). Hutch's system will FLYYYYYY!

but a couple of the specifications for the Asus P3C2000 seem to be inconsistent. One specifications says it provides support for 133 MHz FSB Intel CPUs. But then latter it says it provides support for up to 1 gigabyte of PC100 SDRAM.

Yes, I came across the same problem, which is why I posted my question here. The data at the ASUS site is 'inconsistent'.

asus.com
asus.com

I assume {which I may be wrong} that the FSB of 133 means a RAM bus of PC133 SDRAM as well. I've written them to find out for sure. As of today, I'm still leaning towards the ASUS P3V4X, since the ABIT BE6-II is only AGPx2 and doesn't confirm PC133 SDRAM either.

Anyways, all comments from Zeddie88, Dave Bissett, and you are appreciated.. Hmmm, wonder if I can overclock this too: Dave?

I've got a question about the motherboard that I will be using for my new computer. It's an ASUS P3V4X motherboard and it has 6 PCI slots and 1 ISA slot.

The guy at the computer shop told me that if I use the 6th PCI slot, then I won't be able to use the ISA slot which is very close beside it. Is this true?

Thanks.

Regards,

Sue :)
