It really makes you wonder what the problem is. Intel's chipsets are all SMP capable and always have been for all P6 generation versions. I'm typing this on a dual processor Celeron system.

Tony, there was talk on the AMD thread about a slip of the Athlon 2-way chipset into 2001. This is bad news for AMD, considering they need 2-way SMP to spearhead their way into servers and high-end workstations.
