Guys - (Jim and edamo) Please, let's move back a notch from the personal discussions... ed, you have added a lot of valuable analysis to the thread and at this point many of your assumptions are well vindicated... no need to rub it in... Jim may have been off on his projections but added a lot of data to the available pool and also laid out his assumptions for his thoughts - anyone can be wrong. Just having the data and base assumptions for reference gives us a basis for further intelligent discussion. I respect you both and don't want to see us descend to name calling and personal attacks when there is money to be made here... Call premiums on FEB 37.5 and 40 calls still holding up well, reflecting a lot of investor confidence... still waiting for the right opportunity. The real question IMO is what will the earnings numbers look like? If GMs are really in the teens there will be a lot of angst in the investment community. DELL management was overconfident the last 2 quarters, and there will doubtless be those who think they are still too optimistic. We'll need to stimulate a facts-based discussion if we want to work through the FUD and make some intelligent decisions...
