cAPSLOCK, I'm happy to learn that you are not embarrassed. To each his own as they say. 1.) Yes I am concentrating on future possibility, don't all investors (or at least those with vision ?) Why would anyone invest a dime in EDIG based on their past financial history... I know I wouldn't. It is totally irrelevant to what may or may not occur in the future, wouldn't you agree? Safe Harbour statements have no basis in my investment decisions, if they did I wouldn't buy any small or mid cap company. If it turns out to be vapor I will have made a small fortune in this stock, much more than I could have made with ANY mid to large cap. Not bad, eh? 2.) If it is so "easy" to write routines to do what MicroOS does why hasn't anyone else done it??? I keep hearing how easy it would be to write an OS like EDIG's yet to date (and after several years) not one company has done it. Maybe they think flash file management works just fine in the devices that are out there now, but what happens if companies want to increase functionality without draining power or wearing out the flash card. Do you really think someone will take the years and dollars out necessary to maybe write something comparable to MicroOS when they could simply license the solution from EDIG already? Something to think about...Oh, and then there is the little problem of getting around those pesky little pre-Gatt patents. Just another little problem for the programmers and legal departments. LOL! Lest we forget, IBM, INTC, LU, TI, Lanier, Maycom have all come to EDIG for solutions that are solved thanks to the MicroOS. Oh, and one more point. INTC has their own flash file management system yet they chose to work with lil ol EDIG for the solutions we offered. Why do you think this came about? (Hint: because we possess the best IP in the business, that's why). Please name me one portable player that supports multiple codecs natively and all DRM's (we must not forget the DRM's now, remember what SDMI is all about). No transcoding allowed! I used to bemoan the number of shares in the float when the stock was trading in the pennies. I have since learned, that the float means absolutely nothing if the technology is good and the markets perception of it is bullish. I only wish I could find a a dozen more stocks with 115M shares in the float just like EDIG!!!!! I agree with you that this stock and ALL stocks are a crap shoot for several reasons. I look at the market as a legal way to gamble. Society has conveniently called it "investing". Markets could tumble and even the MSFT's of the world would crash, so what is your point? I am fully aware of the risks involved but if you never step up to the plate you will never get the chance to hit a home run. Cheers. Bob
