My husband reminded me last night that hippies and other counter culture types used the Southern flag in their vans as a symbol of rebellion- apparently they were all over the Haight.

Thanks, jp. For years I used to ignore what these characters would say, figuring it was just a testament to their ignorance and bad manners. But they just get worse. Apparently we are exempt from the 'diversity' rule-- you should respect everyone's heritage, except ours you get to empty the latrine on.
