I believe that you are mis-interpreting an SEC filing. There is no evidence of new option grants, nor any evidence of any near term expiration of existing grants.

The 2.24 million shares to which you refer is apparently (from my cursory interpretation) merely part of the summation of executive stock ownership as of 12/23/99. This ownership includes all options that are eligible to be exercised within 60 days of 12/23/99. Other possible existing option grants that are not eligible for exercise within that period are not included. The 2.24 million existing grants referenced presumably have a wide range of expiration dates, most or even all of which do not fall within the 60 day period.

Regards, Don

Since WIND is a long term hold under my ROTH and I don't buy options, I will probably wait to see if the price falls a little more before I add to my position.

Thanks,

Thanks for your answer to my question. Here's another:

Did yesterday's TMS announcement contain any news for you? I thought TMS was on the market last year.

"...today announced general availability of
Tornado(TM) for Managed Switches (TMS)."
