Re Playstation II...

Make no mistake about it... this product will go gangbusters. My peers are drooling over it. I personally am not much of a gamer... but recognize how much anticipation there is about the PS II launch.

Some clarifications:
Official PS II launch is Sept 9th of 2000 for the US. The issuance that you speak of is in Japan only... and is scheduled for March 4th.

Aside from all the new games, PS II will also have the capability to play DVD movies, Audio CDs, and the old PS games. There will be two USB ports... allowing for mouse and keyboard hookup as well as other devices. (MAC users are probably quite familiar with USB ports). Most importantly... the new system will have a PCMCIA slot (think Laptop)... allowing for broadband internet access. Do not underestimate this feature!

For more detailed info on PS II visit: ps2k.net Updated daily with regards to developments... also has all the spec sheets... etc.

Keep an eye on this list of game makers as well: aklm atvi erts mwy thdo thqi ttwo mgam

Also, I'm compiling a watchlist for Smart Card related stocks... any contributions would be appreciated (I like the innovative micro caps if you can think of any). Watching satellite companies too... I think these sectors could get a mania effect at any time during 2000... similar to fuel cells, tho prolly not as dramatic.
