Well, on my computer:
‚ is ALT+0233
? is now ALT+0132
_ is ALT+233
ƒ is ALT+133
é is definitely ALT+0218 over here. So there! It seems to me it was different just a while ago but I am not sure how I managed that.

Oops -- nobody said anything about right-hand numbers!

So, when I use them, this is what happens:

In Netscape, ALT followed by 0233 gives me: the Cyrillic "short i".

But in Microsoft Word, I get an "e" with an acute accent!

The solution, for me, may simply be to use the ALT+0233 in Netscape, on the assumption that although what I see is the Cyrillic "short i," what you will see is an "e" with an acute accent on it!

For that matter, let's try that experiment now: é, as in déclassé.
What do you see?

What are all the codes? Better yet, where do you find them? I have in mind German umlauts & such, as well as French circumflexes and such.

Thanks.

Joan

I have to tell you guys, n'Rambi, I am having more fun invested in K-Mart than I have had in a LONG time. This is MY KIND of stock.

I feel so AT HOME and WELCOME.

Maybe I should buy some TOY stocks, too.

And I forgot, but found out again, that Kathy Ireland works for us. BESIDES MARTHA! I've sent Kathy an invitation to come by the house and visit me; preferably M-F, 9 to say 1 o'clock.

I'm actually thinking about going over to MY K-MART in TOWN (the one out South, that isn't abandoned) ~ and see how we're doing!!

I bought a six dollar "display" watch there last year. Needed it for working with Dash. Gave it to MJ afterwards. But I can always use more shorts and socks! I like to extend between laundry periods to like ~ seasonal.

Maybe I can get a Kathy Ireland CUT-OUT!!!!

I'LL FLY THE K-MART FLAG!!!!!!!!!!!

FROM THE HOUSE!!!!!!!

PUT KATHY IN THE UPSTAIRS WINDOW,

~ AND MARTHA IN THE KITCHEN!!!
