Hi Sonny,

Hows it goin??

I'm not doing much with the market this week. Just watching. I thought about buying some CMGI yesterday but I got talked out of it. I should learn by now if the broker talks me out of it then it will surely go up and visa versa. <GGGG> I swear I give that man more good stock tips. <LOL!> Thats ok, he give me a few too.

Were you surprised McCain won the NewHampsire Primary?? I was, not that I'm a bush fan, but he seems to have shaken this up a bit.

I just saw this on cnnfn.com on the front page, sorry no link. Interesting!!

Pfizer-Warner seal deal
5:37 p ET
Warner-Lambert and Pfizer reached an agreement to merge, according to sources quoted by Reuters. Under terms of the proposal, Warner shareholders will receive 2.75 shares of Pfizer stock for each Warner Lambert share they own. Pfizer and Warner-Lambert are reportedly still negotiating with American Home Products, which had previously agreed to merge with Warner-Lambert.

This is an interesting article about taxes and the january effect. Since I sold for some profit in early jan, the estimated tax has me a little concerned. Oh well, appt with tax lady in 3 weeks and we'll get it figured out.

Take capital gains early
Selling stock at the start of the year gives you more than 12 months to pay
