V1, heck, I'm *scared*! Not so much of the Fed as of irrational behaviour. The Fed *has* to raise rates by at least 25 basis points and I'm pretty sure they'll state a tightening bias too indicating that there's more to come.

That said, I've been watching the earnings announcements and although mixed, the technology sector doesn't look all bad. I'm also hoping that any statements that do get made will not be too bad; it is an election year after all and I must believe there's pressure on them not to destabilize the markets. My dream world is a market with the broad indices relatively flat for a year or so. Let sector rotation occur in a reasonable fashion and bleed the insane valuations of a few companies in the process.

I just can't bring myself to lighten up right now. I'm going to sit tight and watch at least for a few more hours. When the Sun comes up here - right now, it's only Venus lighting the sky! - I'll take another look :-)

Thanks, Torben
