Hello Ptask,

Excellent initiative, we need a space that will serve as a main directory to the best mining ideas of the day.

As you know the sector is dead..still there are a few excellent stories which are in development at the moment.

I cannot post on this thread without mentioning my favorite silver play: Corner Bay (BAY.T) which had an excellent performance in recent months:

bigcharts.com

BAY stock is now consolidating between $2.25 and $2.50 before the next advance that should carry the stock to $5-$6. There are only 11M shares outstanding, so the market cap is C$25M

The company has discovered the Alamo Dorado deposit in Mexico and has so far developed a proven and probable reserve of 100 millions ounces of silver. The exploration potential is clearly to find another 100M.
ounces.

The ore at Alamo Dorado is unique. This deposit is one of the rare heap leach silver deposit. Metallurgical work is on going to confirm preliminary results obtained in fields tests and that were between 67 and 93% in silver recoveries.

Alamo Dorado uniqueness lies also in the existence of a high grade starter pit on the property that contains 20 millions ounces in 4 millions tons.

The deposit will be open pit with a very low strip ratio of 0:40.

At a conservative 70% recovery rates, this deposit has a recoverable resource of 70 millions ounces of silver equivalent (1.3 millions ounces of gold equivalent) at a very low cost of $1.70 per ounce of silver in the eraly years climbing to $2.40 in the following years.

SI's Market Direction Discussion thread post today: www3.techstocks.com
lists ABX as showing a BUY signal. Haim is usually right and interesting to see a gold listed in the analysis. Charts are telling us something? Maybe now is the time for gold buggers to crawl out? Will be here from time to time to read the mail on the new thread. reid

If this is a topic of conversation on the Barrick thread and on the GPM thread, why are you introducing it here ?
