(NasdaqNM:CREE - news) with a strong buy rating. -- Analyst Alex Gauna said Cree is the world's leading provider of blue light emitting diodes (LED) that complete the LED color spectrum and form the basis for the world's most efficient generation of white light. -- said booming demand for blue and green LEDs will help Cree's financial performance through December 2000; key demand drivers include wireless handsets, automotive instrument panels, traffic signals and full-color LED displays. -- said Cree is a unique competitor in all its target markets because it controls production end to end; no other player in electronics or opto-electronics can claim to control capital equipment production, substrate production, device processing, and testing to the level that Cree lays claim. --Target price for 2000 is $200/share.>> ------------------------------------------------- Good Luck Investing.
