Scarecrow, just dunno about AMZN.

I mean, like I buy stuff from them, but where does the money go?

I don't own the stock. Hmmmmm.

I don't even have a job with them. Although 5 years ago (a lifetime by today's standards), I thought of applying for their CFO job. Shame on me, eh? Coulda been mine....

And sure as shootin', we'd be running at a positive cash flow, customers, analysts, and shareholders be damned...

But I do know that afterhour markets are not necessarily indicative of where things that are freely bought and sold (we're talking common stock here) are done so without the emotive heebie-jeebies...

I don't see it stayin' where it's being crossed in the aftermarket...

JMO,

Dumb Mark (for not getting on a plane and flying to the left coast just for a chat..)

BTW, you've turned into a pugnatious warrior. Quite frankly, I'm relieved that your boiling point with respect to CMGI threadlice is a good deal lower than mine.

Attaboy/girl!

Scarecrow, It is impossible for my feeble brain to figure out the market. You may be right and we push through to 130 with the AMZN momo, iCast/AV and the fact that we are through with the Feds for 6-7 weeks. OTH, Yeltsin may decide he wants his Dasha back and start trouble in Mother Russia or DW may decide he wants to watch birds and manage rock groups full time. With two 10% corrections in January its tough to figure.

I have finally looked at my CMGI trading history. I was in for the first time 3/98 for 300 shares at $60. Had I gone brain dead and done nothing, with the 4 splits since then, I would now have 4800 shares at $3.75 avg cost and not paid a dime in taxes. That would be 1/2 mil more or less which is good bucks for me. My current portfolio reads less than 1/3 that. So I am not concerned about next week or next month, I am holding. Y'all trade away.

PS. I tried the CC route also. Ask me about my Aug 99 CC's on CREE at $40 or QLGC at $100. Double ouch.

PPS. Loved your response to CF. Almost makes me miss TJ so I could read your posts to him. (not).

Luck
Marshall
