Hey OJ, we've not seen you stop by ispec lately... and my gosh we always enjoy having a confirmed bull like you go all cautious :) Lots of stocks testing tops and failing lately... intelligentspeculator.com Seems unlikely that many stocks will join a new-Nas-high-party... intelligentspeculator.com The $NYA hasn't been able to rally and hold, and is only a clunk and a day or two away from testing a trendline running back to Oct 98... intelligentspeculator.com $SRX SP Super Composite with Nas and NYSE breadth indicators combined... and $TYX (yield.com!) and VIX. Interestingly TYX is within 1-3 days of testing its solid unbroken uptrend line... also dating back to... you guessed it... Oct 1998. intelligentspeculator.com With so many test of tops, recent failures, declining advancers and new highs... it seems that all the conditions are ripe for a big move. While I presume down I am not making any big bets until the move shows itself. With this market surprize to the upside not ever a surprize... ;)

Morning OJ--looks like Carpino's scenario is playing out at this point. He was looking for a high to be made tomorrow and then a relatively minor pull-back before it rallies to a higher high and then another short-term top. My system is long from the day we reversed after we made that spike low. It could reverse today, but I doubt it some how given the strength that we are seeing -- though the fact that the 1428-1430 level is providing so much resistance for the spoo is troubling.
