Than why is GNET/SI killing it? I don't consider it an enhancement.

And heck since February made me shiver, re: this: Message 12707081

I am also surprised how you acquired such a sweet tooth of late. There are many other posts where you have threatened to leave SI on this thread and others if they force cookies on you. But I don't have the inclination to search them out. You know it, I know it, and so do most that have been around long enough.

And this is interesting also Message 12316548
But alsa, I read somewhere not too long ago you are not holding the stock any more. Judging by the date stamps.......

P.S. They probably won't get rid of me completely(I'm still waiting to on the *most ignored* list). But skipping around on this thread a little, I see that some people in the new GNET/SI are seeing banner ads. Hmmmm, they call it a glitch. gonna fix it, I'm sure, but how many adds were seen by members not requesting to see them. Could it be that they weren't *really* glitches? And if they were, what does that say for the readiness of the new site?

G'day.

Cheeky, membership might have increased but the rate of growth has slowed to a trickle; existing members are posting far less frequently, and the number of page views by non-members is declining at a rapid rate due to the mass migration over to Raging Bull and to a lesser extent Stockhouse.com.

And yes the Dryers spent years developing the best message board interface in existence. Unfortunately the dlots at GNET have spent the past few months ruining it.

At the moment all GNET has going for it is a huge cash reserve thanks to Paul Allen. Take that away and GNET's earnings fall by 50%.

best wishes

etc.
