Yes....! Remember in August...e.digital was about to release the digital recorder prototypes to Intel. THEN...something happened and Falk announced that these digital recorders were going to take an "interesting turn"...

it is my understanding that the Intel digital recorders will be the most advanced ones ever....seriously leap-frogging the current state of the art...

Ican only imagine what it might be...but the idea of genuine voice to text...seems like a nice little possibility....

the amusing thing about EDIG to me...and the reason...I tossed ~ $500K into that hat....is the multiplicity of partners...and projects they are involved in....that could EACH make serious $$.....that strategically reduced the risk factor to me..... they are not a "one trick pony" company....

this whole "Elwood" bashing thing...is absurd. The man is/was a technical genius...not a businessman... and he finally got smart enough to find businessmen (Falk etc) to understand cost efficiencies, margins, etc. Elwood's attempts to "build it all inside" simply added to cost...

I laugh...when I read about the number of employees....

frankly...when they start adding on a lot of staff....that's when I get concerned....because other than engineers...and a few dedicated to partner "consultant style salepeople"....they don't NEED staff...

back to lurking....still have client work pouring out my ears...sigh....

smile...Mary
