i have cable and i can't wait for dsl! <g3>

the cable is one way, or unidirectional, meaning it's analog upstream and cable downstream. nice, but not great. plus the saturation level seems to come into play during peak hours as more people in the neighborhood connect.

dsl is not without its problems, but i look forward to it.

:)

Seems I have an option for DSL or Cable coming up soon. DSL first, $99 install, $42 month. 6 mo. contract. Little later Cable, not sure of cost. Shall I wait for Cable, or?

My two cents worth. If I had a choice I would go with DSL as believe it would be more reliable than cable. AT&T@Home is charging $39.95 for cable Internet service in my neighborhood.
