I was thinking also, Gateway has the Athlons on the GSA schedule.With NO DELL 800's for 30 days, maybe some government IT managers may want the fastest machine available for yours and my tax dollars.

That might affect DELL's earnings this quarter.

Thats almost DOUBLE what it was about a month ago. RDRAM prices have actually gone up. Also, look in your PC Connection catalog at the RDRAM machine they're selling. It shows that maximum configuration is 256M of RDRAM.

Makes me wonder about Sony Playstation II, which will feature 32 megs of PC800 RDRAM, and which will be released in Japan during the month of March.
