mr "M",

re: <<the question of COMS surviving and (dare i say) thriving without PALM will begin to evidence itself in the two to possibly three earnings releases that will take place prior to the distribution of PALM shares to COMS shareholders. good solid reports and cc's from COMS in that interim period will show us all quite clearly what's in store.>>

Excellent point! But check this out: while EB is not an Ebbers nor an Armstrong, he done good via the S1 filing by indicating that Palm distribution may or may not be distributed... Basically, he's protecting his a$$, and rightfully so! I think if COMS sans Palm can survive and show increased rev in 1-2 QTRS then EB will distribute Palm shares...if COMS can't pull off a solo flight then EB holds PALM---simple as that!!! As long as COMS alone is viewed as a sinking ship, Palm stays on board! When COMS can fly SOLO, PALM shares will be distributed and BOTH PALM and COMS will fly! EB is not stupid! omho!
