McCain in NOT a Washington insider. His voting record is all over the place because he doesn't toe the party line. That's why he is so despised by the Washington Repub establishment. He reminds me of another reformer who was cut of a different mold--Teddy Roosevelt. McCain's personal grit, couple with years in the Senate grappling with national issues makes him the most qualified serious candidate in this race. People are sick of substanceless panderers like Clinton and GWB.
