You do your candidate a disservice by assuming people voted for him because they don't like Bush. The exit polling shows there is no serious dislike of Bush, like there is with Clinton. McCain's victory was more a function of people's perception of him as a better leader and a direct talker. And his campaign finance reform mantra is working.
